The Electronic Music Half Marathon 2008

The BEAMS Electronic Music Marathon, (April 11, 2008) starting at 7 pm and lasting through midnight will take place at Brandeis University's Slosberg Recital Hall, an intimate and acoustically excellent space specially outfitted with an eight-channel sound system for the occasion. This program will include several multimedia and computer video pieces.

The 5-hour concert will feature classic and new works by an international roster of composers.

The works will be presented by some of the best new music performers and ensembles from the US and Europe.

This year's Half Marathon features a wide and exciting variety of electronic music and video.

Come celebrate the past and the future of electronic music at Brandeis, a pioneer in the art form for more than 40 years.
