Chamber Choir

Singing in the Brandeis Chamber Choir gives singers added opportunity to explore more deeply the limitless choral repertory. Singing in a smaller ensemble of good sight-readers, each singer is vocally and musically independent and responsible. Chamber Choir singers often also provide leadership in the larger University Chorus.
Regular rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30-4:50 p.m.
FIRST REHEARSAL is Wednesday, September 5.
We will begin the year singing Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai (St. Nicholas Mass).
Past repertory includes:
Mass for 3 Voices by William Byrd (1543-1623)
Two Choruses by Andrew Imbrie (1921-2007)
Bach’s Lobet den Herrn and Monteverdi’s Laudate pueri (Psalm 113)
Choral songs of Gabriel Fauré, Claude Debussy, and Edward Elgar
