Chamber Choir

Singing in the Brandeis Chamber Choir gives University Chorus singers added opportunity to explore more widely and deeply the virtually limitless choral repertory. Singing in a smaller ensemble of good sight-readers, each singer is vocally and musically independent and responsible. Chamber Choir singers also provide leadership in the larger University Chorus.
Past repertory includes
- Mass for 3 Voices by William Byrd (1543 – 1623)
- Two Choruses by Andrew Imbrie (1921 – 2007)
- Bach’s Lobet den Herrn and Monteverdi’s Laudate pueri (Psalm 113)
- choral songs of Gabriel Fauré, Claude Debussy, and Edward Elgar
- Chansons of Lassus, Passereau, and Janequin
