Vocalist Maggie Galloway teaches jazz and popular song styles.  A professional singer since 1976, she performs on a regular basis in the New England area and has performed throughout the United States, Asia, the Caribbean and South Africa.  She has released two recordings as a leader.

Her first recording “More than You Know” was named an “Editor’s Choice” by Cadence Magazine, “CD of the Week” by the Jazz Review, and a “Pick of The Week” from the Boston Globe.   Poet Peter Davison wrote, “Maggie Galloway’s repertory takes us through the realms of thoughtful jazz and into pure inventiveness, but always with a musicality and richness of feeling that carries deep respect for the nature of the text and its meaning.  To hear her is an expedition into lyricism.”

Originally from Michigan, Galloway studied music and voice at the University of Michigan and Interlochen Arts Academy where she performed in choral, musical theatre and popular song settings.  She began singing with a jazz trio while attending the University of Michigan and later moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music for jazz and popular music studies.  She’s an avid Red Sox fan, enjoys gardening and other outdoor activities.
