Anthony Weller is a jazz and classical guitarist with many CDs in both genres. His principal studies were with Rey de la Torre; he studied composition for many years with Julián Orbón. He is a longtime member of the Herb Pomeroy Trio, the Jon Jarvis Trio, and the Maggie Galloway Trio (with bassist Bob Nieske). He also frequently performs solo or with clarinetist Billy Novick. He has recorded with violinist Stéphane Grappelli and played everywhere from concert halls in Italy, France, and Turkey to New York's Birdland nightclub and the JVC Jazz Festival.
