Rasha Azoni earned her Bachelor’s and first Master’s degree from Bar Ilan University in Israel, graduating magna cum laude. She wrote her Master’s thesis on the Socialization Process and Gender Identity among Palestinian Israeli (Muslim and Christian) Women who Studied in the Israeli Educational System. For five years, she worked as an educational counselor at the high school level in Lod. She then earned a second Master’s in Education from Wheelock College in Boston and a third Master’s in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandies University. While at Brandeis, she also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Director of the Arabic Language Program, Dr. Sharif El-Tobgui. Rasha is passionate about learning, teaching and spreading knowledge.
