The Boston Center for Jewish Heritage will honor Sharon Pucker Rivo, Co-Founder and Executive Director of The National Center for Jewish Film with the Zvi R. Cohen Leadership and Legacy Award for her contribution, vision and commitment to preserving Jewish cultural life.
“The History of the Jewish People: A Story of Tradition and Change” (Behrman House, 2006), written by Jonathan Sarna, the Joseph H. and Belle R. Braun Professor of American Jewish History at Brandeis, and scholar Jonathan Krasner Ph.D. ‘02, has won the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) 2007 Distinguished Achievement Award in social studies instruction.

Jonathan Golden received the Sydney Hillson Award from Hebrew College for service in the field of Jewish Education
Adam Mendelsohn has been awarded a Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Dissertation Year Fellowship for the academic year 07-08.
Leslie A. Morrell received an "Outstanding Achievement in Professional Development" award with stipend and was awarded a $6000 grant towards "Student Performance Enhancement in General Education and Gateway Courses Pilot Projects Program" from NMSU's College of Arts and Sciences. The pilot project program involves developing and teaching a Women's Studies General Education course during fall 2007.
