Ariana Berlin ('14)
Hey everyone! I’m Ariana and I’m excited to be one of the NEJS UDRs! I look forward to meeting you and answering your questions! A bit about me: I am a junior from Cherry Hill, NJ. Besides NEJS, I am also majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Hebrew. In my “free” time, I am the Social Events Coordinator for the Brandeis Orthodox Organization (BOO), I work for the office of Admissions, and I also teach 5th grade at the Boston-Area Jewish Education Program (BJEP). I really like NEJS and I hope that you will too! Get psyched for a great year!
Sara Fried ('15)
I'm Sara Fried, and I love NEJS. I'm particularly interested in studying the Bible, but I am eager to help you find what you love most about NEJS. I grew up in Brookline, MA, and am minoring in Politics. I have worked for the NEJS office, the Cohen Center, and I teach Hebrew at the Boston Jewish Education Program. In addition, I am the President of Brandeis' Queer Jewish student group, and an associate chair of The Now Project. I am looking forward to meeting all of you, and hope to see you at a NEJS event!

Katy Dowling ('15)
Hi there! My name is Katy Dowling and I'm looking forward to being one of the IMES UDRs this year. I'm currently a junior majoring in IMES and Politics with a minor in Religious Studies. I'm from Warwick, New York (think apple orchards, not the city!) and I'm currently working in at the Crown Center for Middle Eastern Studies. In my not-so-free time, I'm Fundraising Chair for the crew team, secretary of Russian Club, and I help tutor kids in Arabic! If you need me you you can always find me. Hope you're as excited as I am for this year!

Ethan Stein ('15)
Hi Everyone! My name is Ethan Stein and I am very much looking forward to being your Hebrew UDR this year. Throughout the year I will be available to discuss anything you may need with regard to the Hebrew program, whether mentorship, or help with class selections, among many other things. Here at Brandeis, I am a student of Computer Science and NEJS, along with being President of the Brandeis Orthodox Organization. In my "free time" I work with three of my childhood friends, on a new event management startup crowdfunding platform---"EventLeaf." Fun facts about me: I used to play the saxophone, and at age 6, I was a Boy Scout in a television commercial. Most importantly, however, I am looking forward to a great year together!
