Call for Papers
We invite submissions of papers by graduate students in any area of philosophy where there is a clear intersection with the philosophy of language. This would include, but is not limited to, connections with metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of mind, metaethics and the philosophy of science. Preference will be given to papers that are not solely on the philosophy of language.
Deadline for submission is January 1, 2010. Papers should be suitable for a 20-25 minute presentation and no more than 3,500 words in Word, PDF or rich text format and suitable for blind review. Submissions should include a separate cover sheet that includes the following: author name, paper title, institutional affiliation, contact info (e-mail and phone number), and a short abstract (~100 words). Please e-mail submissions as attachments to brandeis.gradphil@gmail.com.
There will be a catered dinner following the keynote address on Friday, March 5. There will be a $20 charge for the dinner payable upon arrival. Those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP (vegetarian meal option available, please note in RSVP).
Any questions about the conference or dinner can be directed to the e-mail address above.
