I was born in New York City and grew up in Greenwich CT. I studied English and American Literature and Philosophy as an undergraduate at Brandeis University. I enjoyed the philosophy undergraduate program so much that when the MA program was announced, I joined right away for its inaugural year.

Brandeis’ programs are defined by the care and attention that professors give their students. Professor Teuber supported me through the transition process from undergraduate to graduate student, and Professor Yourgrau was an excellent mentor during my entire tenure at Brandeis.

My fellow graduate students were also incredibly helpful and supportive. There was always someone available to bounce ideas off of and discuss interpretations and theories with. One of the great attributes of this program is that disagreement was always welcomed and never disrespectful. Defending our differing points of view helped us all grow as philosophers.

Currently, I work in the corporate world as a marketing strategist. My philosophy background has been of great use in many ways. The logic courses prepped me very well for analyzing data and building new formulas, while the vigorous classroom debates with my colleagues have helped prepare me to defend my presentations and pitches for new strategies.
