Nicole grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She studied both Philosophy and Creative Writing at Hollins University before transferring to Eugene Lang College at the New School where she received her B.A. in Philosophy.

She is eager to study analytic philosophy at Brandeis. Her interests are ethics, late Wittgenstein, and aesthetics. Specifically, she is interested in end of life issues, bridging personal identity with ethics, and philosophy and literature.

Nicole has a fixation on Soviet Russia and Stalin, and hopes that one day she can wish herself Russian; she enjoys a good vodka and prides herself on her ability to say "hello"  in Russian. She also enjoys reading and writing fiction and poetry, sleeping, and fashion.
