Lauren earned her B.A. in philosophy under the supervision of Jeremy Fantl from the University of Calgary before coming to Brandeis.

Her primary area of interest is epistemology, followed closely by philosophy of language. She dabbles from time to time in the philosophy of logic. In particular she in interested in pragmatic encroachment and subject sensitive invariantism. She subscribes to a Gricean theory of meaning and abides by John Perry's theory of productivity, which can be found at www.structuredprocrastination.com.

When she's not doing philosophy Lauren plays the drums, reads, draws comics and plays records.
