Wesley Mattingly


Born and raised in Louisville, Ky., Wesley earned his B.A. in philosophy from Cornell University before going on to study at the University of Heidelberg on a stipend from the Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg. 

Foremost among his philosophical interests are (thematically) epistemology (viz. skepticism), aesthetics and philosophy of language in the widest sense; (historically) German philosophy from Kant onward.
