Laura grew up in Granby, Connecticut. In 2010, she graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York with a B.A. in Philosophy and Anthropology.
Her main interests in philosophy include metaethics primarily value pluralism and moral relativism (especially its relation to anthropology) and the history of philosophy principally early modern philosophy. Through continued study at Brandeis, she hopes to gain a stronger foundation in the discipline and to find her specific niche within it.
Her interests outside of philosophy include art (figure drawing in particular), the Celtics (Rajon Rondo in particular), Michael Pollan and baking.
