The Research Circle on Democracy & Cultural Pluralism invites applications from undergraduate and graduate students for the following funding opportunities. The deadline for each of these applications is Monday, April 28, 2014. 

Dissertation Research Support

The Research Circle invites applications from PhD students in the Social Sciences for support for dissertation-related research. Projects may range from preliminary research to develop a dissertation proposal, to discrete research tasks part of the larger dissertation (e.g., a case study), or more extensive research and write-up to complete the dissertation. Awards are made on a competitive basis, and may range from a $2000 to a $10,000 stipend, depending on the scope of the proposal. More information on these grants and how to apply is available here.

Undergraduate Summer Internship Grants

The Research Circle on Democracy and Cultural Pluralism invites applications from students in the Social Sciences and Humanities for Democracy-related summer internship grants. The Circle may award as many as three summer internships of $3,500 each. Internships must involve work directly related to the mission of the Research Circle. More information on these grants and how to apply is available here.

Senior Honors Thesis Summer Research Grants

The Research Circle on Democracy and Cultural Pluralism invites applications from students in the Social Sciences and Humanities who will be undertaking preparation of Senior Honors Theses in the Fall, and their advisors, for Circle funding to support summer research for the senior honors thesis. Theses must address a question related to the mission of the Circle. The Research Circle may provide up to $1000 in funding. More information on these grants and how to apply is available here.
