Angie graduated from Colgate University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. During her time there she was a research assistant in the Cognitive Aging Lab and also conducted a study on the use of hand gestures in teaching foreign language vocabulary words. She would like to go into the field of clinical psychology to do research and therapy with couples and families. At Brandeis, she has done work on a study using a driving simulation to examine the effect of control on cognitive performance. Angie is currently working on multiple projects including a short longitudinal study on intraperson variability in control beliefs and memory and a study of the characteristics of faces in photographs that are related to age, memory, and a number of other factors.
