Assistant Professor of Latin American Literature and Culture

To begin Fall 2010.  Field of specialization is open, but we are particularly interested in candidates whose teaching and research interests bridge colonial and modern/contemporary periods.
 
Additional areas of interest include Mexico and Central America, the Caribbean, and Latino literature and culture.
 
Native or near-native abilities in English and Spanish required.
 
Ph.D. in hand at time of appointment expected.
 
Representatives from the department will attend the MLA Convention.
