To talk about the homeless as one homogenous entity is inaccurate. "The
homeless" only exist as a political or economic entity, but experiences of
the individual homeless people are so varied that to group them as one is
ridiculous. I will interview homeless people from all over the country,
asking questions about their life experiences in an effort to break down
stereotypes and show the varied experiences homeless people have in this
country. I will then transcribe the recorded interviews, create one
narrative with the people's responses, and write piano music inspired by each
person's story. I will present to the community the narrative, the music,
and pictures of the people and where they live.
