Barb Browning

This semester, Barb is a teaching assistant for a University
Writing Seminar, a quantitative methods course, and the Possibilities for
Change in American Communities program. She is also working as graduate
liaison in the Women's Studies Program advising students on requirements
needed for graduation. Academically, her dissertation research focuses on
community organizing, social movements and gender. Currently she is working
on a paper concerning the construction of deviance within organizations that
will be presented at the American Sociological Association Annual Conference
in August, 2001.
