The Institute for Global Leadership: Located at Tufts University in Medford, MA, the Institute for Global Leadership develops new generations of effective and ethical leaders who are able and driven to comprehend complexity, reflect cultural and political nuance, and engage as responsible global citizens in anticipating and confronting the world's most pressing problems. Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity: Located at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, designed to be actively used to solve problems in society by working to deepen understanding of the causes of—and solutions to—racial and ethnic disparities worldwide and to bring about a society that is fair and just for all people.
Notre Dame Deloitte Center for Ethical Leadership: Located in Notre Dame, IN and serves as a center for the research, teaching, and practice of ethical leadership. Housed within the Mendoza College of Business, the NDDCEL seeks to further an understanding of the topic and explore ways in which ideas generated can be disseminated and implemented in the corporate world.
Institute for Ethical Leadership: Located at Rutgers Business School in Newark, NJ, the Institute, including its staff and advisory board, in association with the University faculty and administration, as well as its partners and vendors, is committed to a set of values that create the organizational culture for ourselves and those whom we serve including respect, personal and professional integrity, commitment to excellence, collaboration, continuous improvement, and diversity.
The Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University: Located in Durham, NC and is an interdisciplinary “think and do” tank committed to promoting moral reflection and commitment, conducting interdisciplinary research, and shaping policy and practice. [NOTE: Already a Center partner]
Texas Tech University (TTU) Ethics Center: Located in Lubbock, TX and enhances the overall ethical culture of Texas Tech University by promoting ethics education; facilitating ethics research; providing outreach; and fostering discourse on ethical issues among students, faculty, staff, alumni, and others with interest in ethics.
Olsson Center for Applied Ethics: Located at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business in Charlottesville, VA, the center serves as one of the leading sources of thinking about the role of ethics in business and to enhance the intellectual life of the University of Virginia by contributing to a university-wide conversation about the role of ethics in modern society.
Vann Center for Ethics: Located at Davidson College in Davidson, NC, the center aims to serve as a catalyst for moral inquiry and imagination, careful analysis and reflection, civil dialogue, and responsible action. The Vann Center provides educational programs and services to help students, faculty, professionals, and the public confront complex ethical issues, dilemmas and challenges.
McCoy Center for Ethics in Society: Located at Stanford University in Stanford, CA, the center is committed to bringing ethical reflection to bear on important social problems through research, teaching, and engagement.
The Inamori Center for Ethics and Excellence: Located at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, the center fosters ethical leadership at Case Western Reserve University and around the world. The Inamori Center fulfills its purpose by awarding the annual Inamori Ethics Prize; collaborating with people and entities at Case Western Reserve University, in the regional community, around the United States and the world; and sponsoring ethics research and scholarship, teaching, training, symposia, lectures, and other means of ethical discourse.
Center for Public Leadership: Located at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government in Cambridge, MA, the center is dedicated to the enhancement of leadership teaching and research. By creating opportunities for reflection and discovery for students, scholars, and practitioners from different disciplines, sectors, cultures, and nations, CPL promotes a dynamic exchange of ideas.
Center for Ethics and Policy: Located at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, the center is dedicated to advancing applied ethics and political philosophy through the integration of first-quality theoretical reflection and a discerning engagement with the practical settings in which important ethical issues arise. Its members include internationally recognized scholars and practitioners drawn from a diverse range of units across Carnegie Mellon University.
The Center for Professional and Personal Ethics: Located at Central Michigan University in Mt Pleasant, MI, the center is Housed in the Department of Philosophy and Religion and sponsors visits by nationally & internationally known speakers and that work with students to create educational resources pertaining to ethics.
Markkula Center for Applied Ethics: Located at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA, the center is the world's leading proponent for practical ethics in personal and professional life. In dialogue with Silicon Valley and global society, the Center conducts research and inquiry into important ethical questions, and provides useful resources to promote ethics in everyday life and equip individuals and institutions to act with integrity. Emory University Center for Ethics: Located at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, the center is dedicated to exploring how ethical issues underlie the decisions that shape our minds, lives, and society. To do so, scholars from across the university gather at the Center to collaborate and study. The Center also hosts public programs, partners and consults with private and public community organizations, and teaches students at every level of university life.
Center For Ethics and Social Responsibility: Located at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL, the CESR staff assist faculty members in developing service learning courses that engage community organizations in partnerships designed to both enhance academic goals and apply scholarly learning to salient community issues. The service experiences are to be integrated into the students’ academic curriculum, providing structured time for students to think, talk, and write about what they did and saw during activities.
DCU Institute of Ethics: Located at Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland, the center creates ethical awareness in relation to all fields of the university’s activities and to play a leading role in raising public awareness of, and stimulating debate about, ethical issues.
Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies: Located in Leiden, Netherlands and is dedicated to research, teaching, and training in public international law.
The Hague Institute for Global Justice: Located in Hague, Netherlands and aims to contribute to, and further strengthen, the global framework for preventing and resolving conflict and promoting international peace.
The Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law: Located in Lund, Sweden, the center promotes universal respect for human rights and humanitarian law by means of research, academic education, dissemination and institutional development.
