Cynthia Cohen speaks on Brandeis Coexistence Initiatives in the Middle East

Cynthia Cohen spoke at the Hornstein Program in Jewish Communal Service weekly Friday seminar. Her topic was "Brandeis Coexistence Initiatives in the Middle East." Speaking from her experiences in the Middle East and as a coexistence facilitator, Cohen discussed what the Coexistence program did and how it worked to improve relations betweens Israelis and Arabs. She focused especially on the Community Histories by Youth in the Middle East (CHYME) project, and showed the videos that they made during the recent seminar. Cohen's talk led to a number of intriguing questions, and left people thinking about the many options for what can be done in the Middle East.
