Peace Garden Memorial

October 19, 2005

On Wednesday, October 19, at 7:00 pm, members of the Brandeis community gathered at Schwartz Auditorium to hear storyteller Noa Baum perform A Land Twice Promised, capturing the interface of Israeli and Palestinian life in re-telling stories of the women in her own family and that of a close Palestinian friend. The Lydian String Quartet performed the slow movement of Beethoven's Opus 132. The Harry and Violet Mandel Memorial Garden was re-dedicated in a ceremony at 8:45.
