An article in the January 1 edition of Corporate Counsel titled "Attention Must be Paid," which details the case of a Lockheed Martin employee who uncovers problems with a company shipbuilding project, cites Center Director Daniel Terris. His book Ethics at Work examines Lockheed Martin's ethics program.

Terris notes in the article that Lockheed's ethics officers may face a conflict in that they both educate and investigate employees. He also says the company would be better served if its ethics department were more independent from Lockheed's business executives.
