Upcoming Publication: The International Judge

March 20, 2007

An excerpt from the upcoming publication, The International Judge: an Introduction to the Men and Women Who Decide the World's Cases, is now available online at the Social Science Research Network. The full book, written by Daniel Terris, Director of the Center, Leigh Swigart, Director of Programs in International Justice and Society, and Cesare Romano of Loyola Law School, is due to be published in the fall of 2007.

The International Judge profiles the men and women who sit on courts with jurisdictions that cross national boundaries -- such as the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice. Although the majority of Americans know little about these institutions, the cases they hear and the decisions they deliver are helping to shape the emerging field of international justice.
