iCourts at the University of Copenhagen

September 14-15, 2012

Ethics Center Director Dan Terris and Director of Programs in International Justice and Society Leigh Swigart attended the inaugural conference of iCourts on September 14-15 in Denmark.

Based at the University of Copenhagen, iCourts is a new interdisciplinary research center funded by the Danish National Research Foundation. Its mandate is to study the increasingly important role of international courts and tribunals in the global legal order as well as in society and politics at large. Terris and Swigart had the opportunity to meet scholars working in the field from Europe and other regions as well as discuss possible future research and programming collaborations.
