Add Events to the Calendar

Welcome to BrandeisEVENTS, the university’s new campus calendar. Elements of this calendar will be rolled out in several phases. We appreciate your patience as we continue to build a robust campus calendar.

BrandeisEVENTS highlights community activities, lectures, conferences, arts events, exhibitions, information sessions and many other events.

Events that are open to the Brandeis community and the public will be published to the calendar. Many community members found the previous campus calendar crowded and difficult to use. For this reason, classes, department meetings, student club meetings and application deadlines will not be displayed on the calendar. Direct communication (email, department/office website, etc.) is the best way to reach your audience for internal events and deadlines.

Getting an Event on the Calendar

The calendar displays events scheduled through 25Live, the system used to reserve space on campus. At your request, authorized 25Live schedulers will create a calendar listing once they have scheduled your event in the system. When you reserve a space for an event (or once you have the details for a calendar listing), please tell the scheduler that you would like the event to appear on the calendar, and provide the scheduler with the event name and a short description.

Event organizers should follow the normal procedures for reserving spaces. For example, if you are organizing an event in the Usdan Student Center or the Hassenfeld Conference Center, please contact Conference and Events Services.

Many popular spaces are reserved directly through the departments under whose purview they fall. These spaces include the Shapiro Campus Center (including the Great Lawn), Rapaporte Treasure Hall, the Mandel Center for the Humanities and the Rose Art Museum. Please see Campus Spaces and Academic Spaces for more information.

Student Group Events

Conference and Events Services and the Department of Student Activities support student group events. The best way to begin your planning process is to attend a Jump Start meeting.
