Profile

Ms. Chiu has a B.F.A. in Theater Design and Technology from Florida State University and a M.F.A. in Stage Management from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. Before joining the theater staff at Brandeis University in 2004 Ms. Chiu served as the Production Stage Manager for the long-running Off Broadway show Blue Man Group here in Boston. Other stage management credits include Turandot, Porgy and Bess, The Marriage of Figaro, and Orfeo ed Euridice at the Virginia Opera; The Interrogation of Nathan Hale and The Lower Cortex for the Miniature Theater of Chester; Falsettos at the Hot Summer Nights Festival in Cincinnati; and, the premier of In Walks Ed at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
