Title
Henry F. Fischbach Professor of Chemistry
Chemistry
Neuroscience
Expertise
Experimental and theoretical studies of oscillating reactons, chaos, waves and pattern formation in reaction diffusion systems. Mathematical modeling of biochemical kinetics and neural systems. Functional networks.
Profile
My research focuses on patterns in time and space, primarily in chemical (reaction-diffusion) systems, though the systems I study cross cross disciplinary lines into such areas as biology, physics, mathematics, engineering and the social sciences.
Degrees
Harvard University, Ph.D.
Harvard University, M.A.
Harvard University, B.A.
