Jytte Klausen's most recent book is "The Challenge of Islam: Politics and Religion in Western Europe" (Oxford University Press, fall 2005). It was published in German as "Die muslimische Elite in Europa" (Campus Verlag, February 2006) and in Turkish as "Islam¿ Yeniden Düsünmek: Bat¿ Avrupa'da Siyaset ve Din," Liberte 2008. Her next book, tentatively titled, "The 12 Little Drawings that Shook the World: The Danish Cartoons and the Clash of Civilization," is forthcoming on Yale University Press. She recently received the Carnegie Scholars Award (2007-08) for her work on Muslims in Europe.
