Teach-In February 26, 2017


On the afternoon of Sunday, February 26, 2017, students, staff and faculty gathered in Levin Ballroom in the Usdan Student Center for a Teach-in.

Timely topics included:

"The Challenges of Listening to Points of View with Which we Disagree" with Prof. Joseph Cunningham (Psychology Dept.)

"The Role of the Upper Middle Classes in Trump's Rise to Power" with Prof. Gordon Fellman (Sociology Dept.)

"Perceptions, Decisions, and Biases" with Prof. Paul Miller (Biology & Neuroscience Dept.)

Co-facilitators Prof. Faith Smith (AAAS, LALS, WGS and English Depts.) and Prof. Daniel Bergstresser (Economics) are members of the 2016-2017 Faculty Senate. Faculty Senate member Prof. Rajesh Sampath (Heller, Comparative Humanities, HSSP, and South Asian Studies Depts.) joined for the wrap up, too.
