Modern history. Political and social institutions. Teaches and studies the borderlands of social amd institutional history, principally although not exclusively in western and central Europe.
Concerned with British history, the French Revolution, and modern Europe and is currently completing a study of the diplomacy of minority rights in the 1920s.
