As Managing Director of Carlson Partners, Professor Carlson has developed and implemented economic development initiatives for a diverse group of clients that include the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the City of New York and the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City. She has lectured at the Harvard Business School on a variety of topics and is currently engaged in coaching mid-career executives participating in its Executive Education programs.
