Title
Lecturer and Internship Instructor for Health: Science, Society and Policy (HSSP)
The Heller School for Social Policy and Management
Expertise
Health policy; public health; organizational theory; health care management; Medicaid; HIV.
Profile
I am curious about why and how organizations (mal)function and what that means for performance, especially where good health care practices are concerned. In addition to organizational theory and health care management, my interests, research, and teaching also involve a number of areas in health policy, public health, and advocacy.
I am writing my dissertation on the impact of the patient-centered medical home on unmet health (care) needs among children with symptoms of complex trauma and am working with the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey for that purpose.
