ExpertisePoverty as a traumatic experience; best practices for ADHD diagnosis and management; HIV (and aging with HIV); organizational predictors of clinical practice; public health care safety net capacity building; value-based insurance design; health care management; organizational theory and economic theory.
ProfileI am curious about why and how organizations function and what that means for performance, especially where good health care practices are concerned. In addition to organizational theory and health care management, my interests, research, and teaching involve a number of areas in health policy, public health, and advocacy. Particularly relevant to policy development, implementation, and evaluation, I am a skilled policy analyst and an astute political observer and actor.
I am writing my dissertation on the impact of education and health care policies on the diagnosis and management of childhood ADHD, and am working with the National Survey of Children's Health for that purpose.
