How do I access the Web reporting system?
The reporting system is online. You should download and review the documentation. (PDF)
I do not have have access to the reports. What form should I use to get access?
The form can be found on our web site. Once you submit the form we will ask the budget manager for your department to approve your access. This can take from several hours to two days to complete all the necessary steps.
Can I still use my existing username and password?
You can use still your existing username which is the same as your UNet username.
How do I run the reports?
You can follow step by step instructions beginning on page two of the documentation.
I noticed that there are reports for fund 12 (projects). Can I run them?
Only if you have proper security clearance. If you do not, the reports will simply not run even if you select them.
Will the system send me an e-mail when the reports are completed?
No, you will need to use the Process Monitor to view report generation status. See the section labeled Retrieving Reports Later on the last page in the documentation.
Will I be able to run the Transaction Details and the Open Commitment Report anytime I want to?
Yes. You will be able to run the Summary Report also on a daily basis.
How will I know when a period is closed and if it's OK for me to run reports?
Users on the distribution list (see the last page of the documentation if you would like to join) will still receive an e-mail each month after the period is closed and the numbers have been verified.
When you receive e-mail stating that the month is closed, it means that all transactions for that month have been posted.
