All About Courses
Courses at Genesis are unlike any high school classroom learning experience. Our faculty lead you through complex, compelling topics that encourage critical thinking and challenge assumptions. Jewish texts, traditions and perspectives infuse your study of subjects ranging from law to technology to world religions. With intellectual vigor, yet without the stress of grades or papers, Genesis courses prompt questions as much as they provide answers. You will help shape your experience by taking responsibility for parts of the course and getting practical experience in your chosen discipline.
All of the Genesis courses involve:
- Minimum of forty hours of meeting time
- Meetings with professionals in the field
- Field trips to relevant Boston organizations
Genesis brings course faculty from around the world - outstanding educators and professionals with expertise in their discipline. Many of the courses are team-taught, bringing together different experiences and viewpoints. Learn more about our educational staff by viewing their profiles.
