Internship in Experiential Jewish Education
The Genesis internship offers emerging educators the opportunity to explore their interest in the field of experiential Jewish learning in a challenging and supportive framework. The interns are primarily responsible for social action projects and educational programming, and they have many opportunities to learn from and collaborate with the community educators in areas of residential life and community education.

Matthew Gottlieb
Matthew Gottlieb is an Alumni of Genesis 2004. He recently graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a BS in Network Technology and Security with a Minor in Computer Science. Matt is currently enrolled in DePaul’s Masters Program. Matthew has a strong Jewish background having grown up in the Traditional Jewish community in a northern Chicago Suburb. He also has a strong passion towards teaching and educating. Matthew has a love for old Rock and Roll Music and Jewish Punk.Anna Resnick
Anna Resnick is a Genesis '04 alum and a recent graduate of Harvard College, where she studied comparative literature. In addition to directing and acting in numerous theatrical productions, she has founded several dance groups, including Harvard's Israeli folk dance and belly dance companiesl She has been heavily involved in Harvard Hillel, acting as song leader for the Reform minyan and participating in various alternative breaks. Ater Genesis, Anna plans to spend a year in Israel, pursuing Jewish studies and exploring the intersection bewtween the arts and social action.
Eli Terris
Eli Terris is currently a sophomore at Brandeis University studying Anthropology, Hebrew and French. Eli is a Genesis alum from the summer of 2004 and since then has participated in many Jewish, volunteer, and interfaith programs. One of the most memorable being his gap year after high school and before university spent in Israel on a program called Kivunim. He is excited for the upcoming summer!
Leah Vaks
Leah is a fervent lover of Hebrew, though her first languages are Russian and English. She is currently studying at Brandeis toward a Master's degree in Teaching Hebrew. She completed her undergraduate degree at Barnard College, where she majored in Religion with a concentration in Christianity. Leah is passionate about scripture, tradition, and mysticism, as well as diversity, conflict resolution, and minority rights. Her own spiritual journey of 14 years has lead her to the path of Chassidus. She is currently enthralled by the teachings of the Slonimer Rebbe and Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. She is also spearheading a Brandeis chapter of the OneVoice Movement, to support the grassroots activism of Palestinians and Israelis for coexistence through a two-state solution. Leah lives in Newton, MA, while many of her close relatives reside in Israel.
