Dean's Message

A unique focus on the global economy, global finance and management, and economic policy is at the heart of the educational experience at Brandeis International Business School (IBS). Our mission is to prepare exceptional individuals from around the world for leadership roles in the global economy. Our curriculum and programs, faculty and student body, have all been chosen to provide a global perspective on successfully managing business risks and opportunities. Further, graduates leave IBS with lifelong contacts, an appreciation of business responsibility to community and society, and a recognition and understanding of the multicultural context of today's business world.

Our professors are leaders in their field and many supplement their outstanding academic credentials through experiences with global institutions such as the World Bank. More than half of our students will come from countries outside the United States, adding to the international character of the IBS classroom. We also enjoy partnerships with many leading universities around the globe. These partner institutions provide opportunities for our students to gain meaningful access to the business practices and networks of other countries. Our relationships with leading global companies and government agencies enhance the career path of our graduates after they leave IBS. Our alumni and friends network is strong, vibrant and growing. This network connects IBS to top business executives and policymakers, and provides opportunities for internships and full-time positions with leading global companies and organizations.

Together, these elements all provide the foundation for a superior academic experience that is culturally diverse, intimate in scale, intellectually rigorous and focused on providing the tools necessary to achieve success in the global marketplace. IBS was selected as one of the world's top 100 full time MBA programs and one of the top 50 programs in the U.S. by The Economist Intelligence Unit/Which MBA ranking. I invite you to explore the outstanding offerings of IBS and learn firsthand why we achieved this important recognition.

Sincerely,
