Directions by car
Brandeis is located just 10 miles from Boston and is within easy driving distance of the region's major cities. Please see directions below from different locations.
All visitors to the campus who come by car should stop at the main entrance Guardhouse for a temporary parking pass.
To get to the Lemberg Academic Center or the Sachar International Center from the Main Entrance of Brandeis University, stay to the left of the Guardhouse. Do not stop at the undergraduate Admissions Building, which is located just before the first stop sign. Rather, at the first stop sign, turn left into the “T” parking lot. Drive to the back left of the lot, proceed up the hill, and the Lemberg Academic Center and Sachar International Center are on the right.

 From the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) Eastbound:
Take exit 14 for I-95/Rt 128. After the toll, keep left for 95/128 North. While on ramp, exit immediately onto exit 24 for Route 30. Bear left onto Route 30. Turn right at first traffic light. This is South Street, and Brandeis is two miles ahead on left.
From the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) Westbound: Take exit 15 for I-95/Rt 128 and Route 30. After the toll proceed straight for Route 30. Turn right at end of the ramp, and then right again at first traffic light onto Route 30. Turn left at next traffic light. This is South Street, and Brandeis is two miles ahead on the left.
From I-95/Route 128 Southbound:
Take exit 24 for Route 30. At end of ramp, proceed through traffic light (across Route 30). This is South Street, and Brandeis is two miles ahead on the left.
From I-95/Route 128 Northbound:
Take exit 24 for Route 30. Route 30 is one of several options at this exit, so follow signs carefully. Turn left at the top of the ramp onto Route 30. Turn right at the traffic lights. This is South Street, and Brandeis is two miles ahead on the left.
By commuter rail: Commuter train service is available from Boston's North Station (Fitchburg / South Acton line) to the Brandeis/Roberts Station which borders the campus. To get to the main entrance, walk up the hill, and the entrance to the campus will be on your left. Follow the above directions from the main entrance of the University to the Sachar Building.
