Careers in Investments and Financial Operations

Brandeis MSF graduates develop strong skills in the analytical foundations and the professional practice of finance, including techniques for valuing investments, capital budgeting, and managing risk. These skills, in turn, open a wide range of career opportunities in financial institutions and services, and in the financial operations of non-financial companies.

Positions

Graduates are often already employed in a finance position. Many therefore remain with their employer, though frequently with a promotion. Other graduates have used their degree to change careers, both within and across industries. For example, a graduate of the program might transition from a position as an engineer in a manufacturing firm to a principal in financial services firm.
