"MEET THE MAJOR: Business at Brandeis"

Please join Professor Grace Zimmerman, Professor Detlev Suderow, and Professor Edward Bayone on Thursday, February 25, at 3:30 pm in International Hall to "MEET THE MAJOR!"

We would like to give you an update on the new Business major, including admissions procedures, and answer any questions you may have. 

Here are some of the specifics:

The application period will begin on March 1.  To apply, you need to have already COMPLETED:

-  3 semesters of full-time study at Brandeis (or another college, for transfer students)

                                - AND -

-  ECON 2a, BUS 6a, and BUS 10a (all with grades of C or better).

As soon as you satisfy both requirements, you may apply. 

The admission decision will be based on a number of factors, including GPA.

"Internships in Business, Consulting and Finance and Free Pizza!"

Free pizza, Professor Suderow and the real life experiences of Brandeis students.  What else could you ask for?  Brandeis students will tell you about their internships in consulting, finance, policy (including Godiva - yes, the chocolate company); and the search strategies and resources they used to get them.  Now is the time to get started.   Professor Suderow will kick off the discussion and share his advice, experiences and tips as will Hiatt staff.  This is a redux of last year's incredibly popular internship workshop sponsored the Economic and Business UDRs and Hiatt.
