International Economic Policy Analysis
Students develop an advanced understanding of the economic forces resulting from government intervention and become familiar with their associated impact. They master advanced econometric tools to both comprehend and dissect research that can be useful later in their careers.
The specialization in International Economic Policy Analysis prepares students to work in a diverse range of global economic policy institutions, including central banks, government finance ministries, trade policy institutions, financial regulatory agencies, macroeconomic think tanks, and international lending institutions.
We recommend that every student in this specialization writes a paper, particularly with a focus in empirical analysis of trade policy, or a Master’s Thesis. Students must complete 20 credits in fulfillment of the requirements listed below to earn this specialization. If you have any questions about scheduling, contact your academic advisor.
An option for MA and MBA students.
