Sustainability
Consumers, employees, governments and nongovernmental organizations increasingly insist that businesses benefit society and ensure environmental sustainability.
This specialization incorporates instruction in issues ranging from social development and environmental improvement to economic development and corporate governance. Students learn and apply current economic models to formulate essential conclusions about socially responsible business plans.
Students in the Sustainability specialization learn how to evaluate and enhance the impact of these institutions on society and the environment. Students will ideally utilize study in fields such as marketing or finance to inform work in this specialization. Employers have ranged from Siemens and Abiogenist IDE to Sun Guard.
Students must complete 20 credits through the requirements listed below to earn the sustainability specialization.
