What is the Brandeis IBS Class Gift?

The 2014 Class Gift is a way for graduating Brandeis IBS students to unite their efforts and pay it forward in recognition of the knowledge and experience they've gained at the business school. Just like students in years past, the Class of 2014 has the opportunity to give thanks, support the future of Brandeis IBS, and create a legacy with high participation.

Whether you're earning your degree as part of a one-year, two-year, or five-year program, your experiences as a Brandeis IBS student will stay with you forever. By supporting future students with donations to scholarship aid, club budgets, technology upgrades, facility enhancements, and internship stipends, you have a unique opportunity to give back while you advance your World Ready career.

Where Does My Gift Go?

Gifts toward the 2014 Class Gift can be directed to any of the following funds, which support the growth of our programs and generosity of our scholarship funding:

Brandeis IBS Annual Fund
Gifts to the Brandeis IBS Annual Fund provide unrestricted dollars to a full range of activities at Brandeis IBS, including student services, career services, faculty support, technology and software upgrades, facility maintenance, and club and guest speaker events. Most importantly, gifts to the IBS Annual Fund support scholarship aid for over 75% of our student body.

Dean's Strategic Initiatives Fund
The DSIF provides support for the creation of dynamic new programs and curriculum initiatives. It provides the opportunity to fund new ideas and respond to outstanding opportunities as they arise.

Brandeis IBS Internship Fund
Provides stipends to students who are presented with outstanding internship opportunities that are unpaid. Rather than ignore the opportunity to gain unparalleled work experience and learn new skills, the student is provided with a stipend from this fund so that the choice to learn is not impacted by finances. In addition, the internship fund supports outstanding research and entrepreneurial ventures for Brandeis IBS students over the summer.

Does My Gift Make a Difference?

Every gift matters, no matter the size. There is no minimum amount – but we suggest a gift of $20.14 to show class unity and provide ample support for the future of the school. Not only do the donated funds go toward crucial initiatives such as scholarship funding and internship support, but a high level of class participation leads to stronger school rankings, thus enhancing the value of your degree. Last year’s participation was 91%, a new school record – can you help your class surpass that and create a new legacy for philanthropy at Brandeis IBS?
