Shreya Shah, MA '07 works as a Regional Business Development Advisor at SNV Netherlands Development organization, an international NGO. Shreya is responsible for resource mobilization of nine countries in Eastern and Southern Africa.
Thea Kokhreidze, MBA '07 is now an Associate Banker at EBRD, London.
Cheng Zeng, MA '07 is currently working as an Associate Director in the Investment Banking Department at Juotai Junan Securities, top 5 in Investment Bakning in the local China mainland market.
Rohini Mathur, MSF '09 works as a Senior Financial Analyst with RockYou Inc., a leading social game company based in Redwood City, CA. Prior to this, Rohini worked as an Accountant for an accounting-taxation firm, TaxSolutions, based in Dallas, where she was a team leader in a senior role and responsible for a large percentage of TaxSolutions' corporate clients.
Elena Prokopieva, MBA '09 is a Business Development Agent for EMSA Solar LLC in her native Macedonia.
Jing Li, MA '92 moved from Chicago,IL to Beijing, China in 2009. She continues to work for Siemens Healthcare in the field of treasury/finance. Her children are attending the Western Academy of Beijing, a wonderful international school with students from over 57 countries.
Andrew Rubenstein '90, MA '93 - Started Accel Entertainment, a video gambling company for Restaurants and Bars in Illinois.
Marissa Martinez Preece, MA '95 has been working at the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana in Azcapotzalco, Mexico for the last 15 years. Currently she is responsible for a research group to create a National Risk Management Network. Her company publishes a series of books on Risk Management and recently started editing a specialized journal on finance and risk.
Tilo 'Alex' Shimada-Brand, MA '96 is a Financial Specialist at Harvard University. Living in Weston, MA with his wife Dr. Stephanie Shimada and son William, he would love to meet up with classmates when they visit Boston.
Yakup Ceki Boz, MA '97 works at Nomura, as a Managing Director at Fixed Income Interest Rate Options Trading Desk.
Michael Conn '00, MA '01 is the Head of Corporate Strategy and Senior Vice President at TCW, Société Générale's asset management subsidiary in the United States. Michael helps lead corporate development and other company-wide strategic initiatives for TCW and in the Americas for Société Générale Global Investment Management and Services. Prior to joining TCW in 2005, he was a Senior Financial Analyst of Strategic Planning and Development with the Los Angeles Times; an Operations Manager and an International Business Development Analyst with McMaster-Carr Supply Company; and a Trade Specialist with the U.S. Embassy Paris' Foreign Commercial Service. Michael resides in Agoura Hills (a suburb of Los Angeles) with his wife Cara and their three children Alexander, Gabriel and Tamarra. Michael would love to see former IBS alumni when they are in the Los Angeles area, or on one of his frequent visits to New York and Paris.
Inci Kaya-Ahmed, MBA '01 married to Riaz Ahmed in 2004, and has two kids, Alex and Leah. Working as an market analyst for a large technology firm serving the financial industry. Living in Boston - would love to see former IBS Alums when they visit Boston.
Dariusz Kowalczyk, MBA '01 has lived in Hong Kong since 2004, enjoying the exciting culture and diversity of Asia. Head of Research and Chief Investment Strategist at SJS Markets, the emerging markets securities house, helping the firm develop coverage of high-yield corporate bond markets globally. Featured prominently in the media for views on the Asian economy and markets, with frequent appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg, as well as other global and regional TV stations.
Aarathi Shenoy MA '02 currently works as a French teacher at the Alliance Française de Madras. Prior to her return to teaching, she worked for Tata Interactive Systems, Mumbai, India as a Lead Content Developer as well as IMS Learning Recources as Editor for the magazines: Advanc'Edge MBA, The Global Educator and The Mentor.
Shaw Lupton '03, MA '04 is a real estate economist at PPR, the market research and portfolio strategy firm. He serves on the Young Leaders Council of ULI Boston, where he chairs the university outreach initiative.
Celicia Zhao '03, MA '04 joined Balter Capital Management as a Senior Analyst focusing on hedge fund investments in Boston. Her husband is a design engineer for A123 Systems.
Sekou Mamadou Barry, MSF '04 - Since graduation he had the chance to be involved in the creation of a new bank in his country. Thanks to his training at Brandeis, he achieved very well the task. He has been appointed the managing director of the bank since January 2007. They now have 83 employees and 10 branches in Mali.
Suman Murali, MBA '04 has been working in the supplier risk management space after graduating from the IBS. As a research analyst, she monitors critical suppliers for her customers, analyzes them from financial and operational standpoint and write in-depth supplier risk reports.
Jane Shlimovich '04, MA '05 joined the banking law group of the New York office of Allen & Overy LLP. Jane's practice focuses on development and financing of projects, energy and infrastructure, and in particular, on renewable energy projects in the US and in emerging markets.
Kenneth Goff '06, MA '07 - is now Director of Investor Relations at Higher One located in New Haven, CT. In 2010, Ken transitioned from eBay to Higher One to help manage the IPO process which went public later that year.
Andrew Katz '06, MA '07 left Genworth in January of 2011 to work for Federated Sample, a New Orleans-based start-up that has a market research technology platform. Here Andrew works with the Business Development and Sales teams as a Business Analyst. Andrew currently lives in New York City and got engaged in the Fall of 2010 to Sarah Passarelli (BA '06). They plan to marry in the Summer of 2012.
Ludovic Valentin-Pereira, MBA '07 works in the Private Equity industry in Paris. He deeply enjoys the broad range of activities done by an associate in an investment fund. Ludovic came to IBS through the international exchange program with ESSEC business school.
June Wang, MBA '08 has stayed in the nonprofit world, working in the field of philanthropy at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. While she does not get to decide which nonprofits receive grant money, she does work on the operations side of things, streamlining workflows and conducting analysis and reporting. She misses my IBS friends dearly, but is thankful to be surrounded by many well-traveled colleagues who often speak multiple languages. She hopes everyone else is well and hopes they stay in touch!
Amidou Guindo, MBA '09 is the Risk Manager of Banque de Dévelopement du Mali SA. He would like to stay in touch with friends and faculty from IBS.
Tung-han Lee, MA '09 works at CDRI (Commerce Development Research Institute) as a research assistant. CDRI is a new-established institute doing research and providing policy recommendations for Ministry of Economic Affairs and other government institutes of Taiwan. His job allows him to understand Taiwan's commerce environment of all industries by interviewing the directors of companies and associations.
Suchan Moon, MBA '09 works for Dimension Data Inc., a global IT service & consulting company, in South Korea. It is listed on both the London Stock Exchange and JSE Securities Exchange, and is in the process of being fully acquired by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone.
Pira Sukhontarug '09, MA '10 returned to Asia after graduation looking to ride the wave of emerging markets growth. Initially joined Morningstar as a Financial Data Associate but immediately decided it wasn't the right job. Recently joined Finansa Securities Ltd as an Associate in Investment Banking (Financial Advisory). He works on various deals in utilities, energy, and various infrastructure projects. Most recently, the just-announced amalgamation of PTTAR and PTTCH which will result in one of the largest petrochemical firm in Southeast Asia.
