IBS Alumni were invited to join Professor Ballantine and Associate Tren Dolbear to discuss "The Jobless Recovery, Changes Ahead for the Global Economy" in downtown Boston in December. Chrystopher Probyn, Chief Economist, State Street Global Advisors gave a stimulating presentation on global and US economic prospects for 2010. After his remarks, Professor John Ballantine and Ying Becker, MSF '01- Vice President of State Street Global Advisors and head of the US/Global Active Equity Research Group for the Advanced Research Center (ARC)- commented on Mr. Robyn's positive outlook. Close to 50 alumni attended this event to network with friends, staff and faculty.
