Though the Ukrainian native is the only international intern, Sapun’s supervisor attended Brandeis IBS as an exchange student from the Netherlands in 2008, giving her an immediate connection at the company. “The internship definitely is broadening my understanding of financial markets, as well as my knowledge of the Polish language,” she added.

Tetiana Sapun, MA ’13 gained hands-on experience in asset management working for Union Asset Management AG in Warsaw through Brandeis IBS' Perlmutter Institute Corporate Internship program. Interning in the company’s Institutional Sales Department, Sapun handled a wide range of research and data collection projects.
