Brandeis International Business School graduates find employment in leading companies and organizations around the globe, often rising quickly to the highest levels. You can find answers below to some of the commonly asked questions about career management at IBS and the paths our students follow on graduation.

Where do your students find work?
Approximately two-thirds of our graduates accept positions in the United States, with Boston and New York representing high concentrations. The rest continue their careers in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. We have the greatest success working with firms in the northeastern part of the U.S., in particular Boston and New York, because of the proximity to our campus.

Do you have an on-campus career fair?
We have had career fairs every year and we are now re-evaluating our strategy. Because not all firms have the same hiring time frame, we are considering moving away from one large-scale career fair at one point in time to focusing on having employers on campus during their hiring time window.
Recruiting practices have changed with many employers relying on large-scale career fairs (typically 300+ employers) that attract MBA students from a number of schools, rather than simply visiting a handful of schools. We help students attend these off-site events with a subsidy.
We also work with organizations to participate in virtual career fairs and recruiting webinars.
