Recruiting and Employment

The Career Development Center creates opportunities for students to engage with companies and organizations in many ways including on-campus recruiting, job-posting programs, referrals, alumni introductions and arranging student group visits.

Job Postings

We receive job postings from employers who are specifically seeking Brandeis IBS students and alumni. These postings represent a diverse mix of companies and industries and are a wonderful resource for students seeking both internships and full-time jobs.  We have approximately 2,000 registered employers on our Brandeis IBS career management system and it is constantly evolving with replacements and additions.

Company Visits

Throughout the year, the Career Development Center works with student clubs to arrange industry-based trips to meet with leading companies based on student interest. These visits help students network with companies for summer internships and full-time jobs. Some examples of clubs that participate in company visits include The Global Markets Investment Club, the Consulting Club, The Marketing Club and The Technology Club.

Networking Connections

There are significant networking opportunities for Brandeis IBS students both with alumni and local professional organizations. Students are invited to alumni gatherings in Boston,  New York and London and have access to the alumni database.  You'll have many ways to make strong connections with the corporate world through visiting executives and alumni panels.

Internship support

Select Brandeis IBS students are eligible to receive an additional stipend while interning at qualifying nonprofit, public sector or economic development organizations.

Placement

Our graduates have an enviable placement record, holding positions in leading corporations and public sector institutions around the globe. About 81% of our MBA students found work by three months after graduation (a common measuring point).  Among international students, 67% found jobs in the U.S.   Some students were required to return home owing to the conditions of their scholarship (e.g., Fulbright Scholars) and some students accepted exciting opportunities outside the U.S.
