FGV is Brazil's leading research and teaching university. Its original goal was to train people for the country's public- and private-sector management and is now considered a top-5 "policymaker think-tank" worldwide. The graduate school enrolls 350 students in finance, management and economics and houses a major forecasting center, and maintains close contacts with Sao Paolo's dynamic industries. Instruction is available in Portuguese and English. American Economica rates FGV as the #1 business school in Brazil and #3 in Latin America.
