Housing Resources

The Office of Graduate Affairs (GSA) along with Brandeis IBS Student Services have gathered some information to help assist in your housing search.

  • If you are looking for a room or have found a place and are in need of roommates, a good place to start your search is on the Graduate Housing listserv. By selecting the “subscribe” option, you will be able to communicate via email with your fellow incoming classmates about places to live.
  • A Guide to Off-Campus Housing is a booklet put together by GSA, and contains helpful information that should be useful when you are looking for housing in the Waltham/Boston Area.
  • Brandeis Jump Off Campus is an additional forum provided by the university where students and landlords can post housing openings. This website provides the cost, rooms available, and pictures of apartments.
  • The Brandeis Housing Facebook page is a similar format to the Graduate Housing listserv and is accessible to anyone in the Brandeis community. In order to access this page you will need to have your Brandeis email set-up.
  • GSA will be hosting a House Hunting Weekend. This is an opportunity to receive assistance from the staff members and landlords in your housing search.

For any housing questions contact Robin Mancini in the Office of Graduate Student Affairs or Matthew Rocker at IBS Student Services.
