Description: Meets for one-half semester and yields half-course credit. Designed for first-year MA students. An introduction to key theoretical concepts in microeconomics. Calculus will only be used in a very limited number of cases. Emphasizes topics important in other IBS classes, such as financial theory or international trade. Some material is applicable to courses in business strategy. Usually offered every year.
